The Siberian is a Semi-Longhaired, medium to large, hefty cat.

This breed originates in Russia, and is a result of crossbreeding of domesticated and wild forest cats.

The characteristic feature of the Siberian Cat is a dense waterproof coat, with very thick but silky undercoat and harsh guard hairs along the back to help rain run down.

Thick paws with fluffy pads, tufts on the ears are only a few of their wild features.

Despite being heavy, Siberians are rather agile, and will prove to be exceptional hunters, if they have access to outside.

Being very intelligent, they make fantastic pets. Siberians mix easily with other breeds of cats and dogs.

They come in wide range of colours and patterns, but Brown, Golden and Silver Tabbies are always favourites.
